It is designed to equip all health professionals with the essential knowledge and skills to accurately identify, manage, and appropriately refer children with seizures and epilepsy at the primary care level. This aims to strengthen service delivery and improve health outcomes for affected children.

  • Definition & classification of epilepsies
  • Approach to febrile seizures
  • Approach to status epilepticus
  • Electroencephalogram (EEG)
  • Treatment options for epilepsies
  • Behavioural & cognitive co-morbidities of the epilepsies
