This course is to update health workers in the Western Cape on PACK Child 2026. It highlights WC policy updates, and relevant changes to the PACK guide. 

It is important to familiarise yourself with the latest policy and PACK updates. Use the course enrolment algorithm below to guide you on which courses to do and in what order.

  • Course Design: Self-directed

  • Duration: It will take you 5 hours to complete.

  • Eligibility for this course - the following healthcare workers in the Western Cape, who have completed the Introduction to PACK Child course:
    • Nurses
    • Doctors

  • Accreditation:
    • WCDHW Nursing CPD Accredited for 3 CPD points in Area of Practice.
    • HPCSA accredited for 5 CPD points, level 1.

  • Certification: Participants need 70% pass mark for final quiz.
