This introductory training provides all health staff (clinical and non-clinical), with a basic understanding of paediatric palliative care; how to recognise children who may require supportive or specialised palliative care inputs; and the unique role each staff member plays within a coordinated, team- based approach.

The training also emphasises the importance of working collaboratively with families, community partners and available local resources to ensure holistic and accessible support for children and their families.
