BANC Plus: Online POE Component

This course is designed to support implementation of the BANC Plus training package in the Western Cape. It is a component of the portfolio of evidence for BANC Plus mentees . The course covers cases aligned to specific competencies.

This course will be made available on completion of the BANC Plus Theory Course.

Case 1: Tangeni (diagnosing pregnancy, first antenatal visit, cervical screen)
Activity 1: determining gestational age
Activity 2: pregnancy diagnosis, determining gestation, antenatal medication and health education
Quiz 1
Case 2: Johanna (routine antenatal care, urinary symptom, abnormal cervical result)
Case 3: Anathi (late first antenatal visit, anaemia, tobacco smoking)
Case 4: Precious (management of gestational hypertension and pre-eclampsia)
